Welcome to your Eurovision Song Contest.

This was the sixteenth edition of the Yourovision Song Contest, held in London, following the United Kingdom's third win, courtesy of Olly Murs and Demi Lovato in the previous edition.

This marked the first time a country has won and hosted the contest three times, with this edition falling on the first anniversary of the United Kingdom's first hosting of the contest. Coincidentally, the United Kingdom was once again represented by the artist who brought the contest to London for the first time: Ellie Goulding, and, in addition to this, Demi Lovato, who won for the United Kingdom in the previous edition, will return to represent her native US America. This is the second and third time a Yourovision winner has returned to the contest to try again, and the first time that two returning winners will compete against one another. Additionally, it is the first time a returning winner has won a subsequent time.

This edition was expected to see an increase in attendance from the previous edition, with several countries, including Australia, returning to the competition. Additionally, this was the first edition in which no new countries have made their début.

At the end of the voting, the United Kingdom won again, with a record-breaking six units of twelve points, and a staggering 115 points overall, marking the second time a user has won twice consecutively, and the first time a user has done so with the same country. This is also the first time a single country has won four times overall.

Edition 16 - London - RebirthEdit

The sixteenth edition of the contest was held in London, owing partly to its being the most ideal host close to Essex, birthplace of the contest's most recent winner, Olly Murs. The slogan for this edition was "Rebirth", in reference to the changing of the season around the time of the contest.

The dates for the sixteenth edition, after several revisions and delays, were:

Participation deadline/Voting begins: 16th March, 2015
Tentative voting deadline: 27th March, 2015
Grand Final: 28th March, 2015
