Main article: Wales in Eurovisn't
Cymru is an active participant of the Eurovisn't Song Contest. They first participated in the fourth edition under the name Wales.
Wales held the longest Non-Qualification streak in Eurovisn't history, failing to qualify in events 4 to 14. However in EV15 the nation qualified, with the song "Mr One Night Stand" by Mysteria.
In Year 17, the Welsh delegation announced that would use two broadcasters in future, the pre-existing WBU (Welsh Broadcasting Union) and the WEVC (Welsh Eurovisn't Committee).
In Year 20, a UN'T poll was held on whether the official name for Wales should be changed the Cymru, the spelling in the Welsh Language. The poll passed with a 45 person turnout (62.5%), with 67% of the votes agreeing to change the name, passing it; the broadcaster's named were changed to the CBU and the CEVC.
Following Eurovisn't 30, it was announced live on air that both the CBU and CEVC had both gone bankrupt. A new broadcaster was set up by the government called Teledu a Radio Cymru (TRC) - Television and Radio Cymru.
