Undiscovered Song Contest #3 was the third edition of Undiscovered Song Contest, an online so
ng contest held by Undiscovered Treasures. It took place in mid 2020. The UT team internally selected 50 out of the 500 featured songs that weren't in Undiscovered Song Contest 1 and Undiscovered Song Contest 2 to participate in the edition, out of which 20 progressed past the semi-finals.
Jessarae, who won the first edition of UDSC with "Fishbowl", was the only returning artist of the edition with "Bring Back My Love". He did not progress past the semi-finals, making the final newcomers-only.
The winning song of the edition was "Waste My Air" by Sophie and the Giants. After notably only narrowly qualifying to the final, the song scored a record 291 points in the grand final, 47 points over the runner-up, "Melancholia" by Ruben ft. Emma Steinbakken.
Another record was broken in this edition, for the largest margin of win in a semi-final. SF2 winner "Work" by Chlöe Howl scored 41 points more than the semi runner-up but went on to finish just out of the top five.
The record number of points in a semi-final was achieved by Caitlyn Scarlett's "Ornaments", at 170 points.
