Universong 58 was the 58th edition of the Universong Contest, held from October 28th to November 14th, 2013, in Leeds, England, after the winning of England in the previous edition in Espoo, Finland, represented by the song "Burn" of Ellie Goulding.
Finland won the Universong Contest for the fourth time, thanks to Krista Siegfrids, represented by the song "Can you see me?", a previous favourite for the title. Finland won with 201 points, and having a 54-point difference with runner-up, Sylwia Grzeszczak from Poland (with the song "Ksiezniczka"). This is, up to the present edition, the fourth all-time record of point difference between winner and runner-up. Third place went to Australia, represented by the song "Wild child" sang by Elen Levon. The top 5 was completed by Sweden and Canada. Mali got its best placement ever, by virtue of winning sixth place with 132 points, thanks to the song "Queen of Africa" by Maimuna, in the first of two participations of this African nation in Universong (the second participation was equally successful. Inna Modja represented Mali in USC 75 in Jerusalem, Israel, with the song "C'est la vie", earning eighth place with 131 points).
