Universong 57 was the 57th edition of the Universong Contest, held in Espoo, Finland, from September 30th to October 17th, 2013, after the winning of Jenni Vartiainen last edition in Tromso, Norway, with the song "Junat ja naiset".
England won the Universong Contest for the fifth time so far, until now. With 191 points, Ellie Goulding won the contest with the song "Burn". In second place, popular Internet phenomena, Ylvis, representing Norway, got 146 points, 45 points less than the winner England for their song "The fox". France got third place with Muttonheads and Eden Martin. The song "Snow White (Alive)" got 133 points. Turkey and Brazil completed the top 5. (Indeed, this would be the best placing ever for the South American country, only improved with the second place in USC 75 in Jerusalem, Israel, and later equalled in USC 88 in Saint-Denis of Reunion, France).
Nicaragua was withdrawn of the second semifinal. They were due to be represented by Nina & Sebastian with the song "Imposible". They eventually competed in USC 65 in Sydney, Australia, where they reached the final.
