Universong 10, the 10th edition of the Universong Contest, was held in Cork, Ireland, after the winning of The Cranberries on the previous edition held in The Hague, The Netherlands, with the song "Zombie". The edition was held in late 2010.

20 countries competed this edition, with the debut of Ukraine. After the voting, Romania emerged as the winner for the second time in Universong history, with the song "Disco romancing" by Elena Gheorghe. Romania was declared the winning country with 92 points. In second place, Sweden, with Amanda Jenssen and the song "Happyland", got 91 points, 1 less than the winner, in one of the first close margins ever in the Universong history. In third place, the Spice Girls, representing England, sang "Viva forever", and collected 87 points. Hosts Ireland and Belgium completed the top 5.

Special Edition Edit

After the end of USC 10, the Universong Contest organized a special edition with the best songs of the Eurovision Song Contest in its all history. 20 songs competed, and the great winner was Iceland, represented by its 2009 entry "Is it true?" by Yohanna, earning a total of 139 points. Second place was taken by Ani Lorak, representing Ukraine (also a debuting country in USC 10) with her 2008 entry "Shady lady", with 111 points, while third place was for Serbia, and its winning entry for Eurovision 2007, "Molitva", by Marija Šerifović. The top 5 was completed with the Croatian 1999 entry (Doris Dragović's "Marija Magdalena" - curiously the same place she took in the international contest back then) and the Romanian 2010 entry (Paula Seling and Ovi's "Playing with fire").

Curiously, the United Kingdom made a short comeback to the Universong format after its last appearance in USC 05 and before its comeback in USC 24 - as England and Scotland debuted as separate entries from USC 06. Also, this special edition saw the debuts of Portugal and Switzerland, but as they haven't debuted yet in the Universong normal edition format back then, their debuts are deemed as unofficial. Portugal would debut later on USC 25, while Switzerland would do the same on USC 28.
