Universong 4 was the 4th staging of the Universong Contest, held during 2010 for the first time in Bucharest, Romania, after the winning of Edward Maya and Vika Jigulina with the song "Stereo love" on the previous edition held in Linz, Austria.

The Universong Contest was experiencing a rise in participating countries, since in this edition, 19 countries were taking part, with the debut of Greece, Iceland and Spain.

The Netherlands was on its way to becoming the most successful Universong country, by virtue of winning its second title after winning the very first edition. This time, the winner was Caro Emerald with the song "That man", who broke all the records in that moment by being the very first winning entry to score 100 points or more. A debuting Iceland took second place represented by Emiliana Torrini with the song "Jungle drum", with a total of 88 points, 12 points less than The Netherlands. Third place was for Sweden's Eric Saade, who collected 87 points for his song "Manboy". The top 5 was completed by the representatives of Belgium and Germany.
