TWMC 18

The World Music Contest 18, often referred to as TWMC#18, was the 18th edition of The World Music Contest. This edition held in Paris after France won the previous edition of this contest. The contest has now again more then 40 players.

In this edition the top-5 in each semi-final is qualified for the final. The Funky Loser was Belgium, this is a wild card for one of the three songs on place #6, this song ended on the 8th position in the final. The managers VHB-Trophy was won by The Netherlands, this song ended on the 10th place in the final ranking. This was the first edition the Funky Loser and VHB-Trophy came out of the same semi-final.
