Malaysia debuted in the 6th edition of the The World Music Contest and withdrew with a disqualification in TWMC#17. The player did not send his votes. In edition 9 this country was also disqualified after a plaint in the semi-finals. The song of Malaysia didn't match the theme of the contest.
