Welcome to your Eurovision Song Contest.
This was the first edition of the Yourovision Song Contest. It was hosted in Helsinki, Finland, as the current host of the contest's entrant represented Finland at the contest, though the first founder of the contest had originally planned for it to take place in Belgrade, before giving up on the contest altogether, leaving it to TessHex to organise.
Edition 1 - Helsinki - Flawless[]
The first edition for Yourovision Song Contest was originally going to be held in Belgrade, Serbia, but was then relocated to Helsinki, Finland, following the change of user hosting the contest. The slogan of the contest, and motif of its theme art, was "Flawless", "representational of how, while no man is an island, when people come together, no matter how 'flawed' or 'lesser' they may be, they can create something perfect, or flawless", according to host TessHex.
The dates of the contest were:
Participation deadline/Voting begins: Sunday 8th September, 2013
Voting deadline: Friday 13th September, 2013
Grand Final: Saturday 14th September, 2013

Grand Final[]
The running order draw was performed in two stages: a primary draw to determine in which half of the contest a song would appear, and a secondary draw to determine the exact order of appearance of each song. The primary draw was done by hand, by an independent, blindfolded adjudicator, and the secondary draw was performed by RANDOM.ORG. Both draws took place on September 8th.

Retired Entries[]
The songs marked in blue had been selected prior to the change of host and did not re-affirm their intent to participate before the participation deadline. As a result, they were therefore forced to miss the final. They were, however, included in the primary running-order draw. The song marked in red had originally been selected to represent Armenia, but was later withdrawn and replaced with a different song.
