The Eurovision Memories 21 was the 21st edition of the Eurovision Memories Song Contest. Following Paloma Faith's win at the 20th edition of EM, the contest was brought back to the United Kingdom but this time to the city of Cardiff in Wales. The two semifinals was held the 25 and 26 September 2012, and the final at 2 October. 40 countries announced it participation.
9 countries qualified directly to the final from both the semifinals, the places 10, 11 and 12 in both semifinals advanced to the 'Second Chance' round there they competed for the 3 last places in the final. The top-3 from the previous edition (UK, Portugal and Croatia) were direct qualified for the final.
The contest was won by the Italian artist Nathalie who also won in EM 06 for Italy, but this time representing San Marino with the song "In Punta di Piedi", which received a total score of 150 points. Second place went to Iceland, third to Romania, fourth to Greece and Ireland taking the 5th place.

Spain, Monaco and Estonia were caught cheating during the voting was open and could therefor be stoped before the results were finished and their points were nulled.
Neither Luxembourg, Russia or Israel voted in the final and were therfor disqualified.
