On 29 January 2013, Armenian broadcaster Public Television of Armenia (ARMTV) And EASC Owner Announced Hrazdan Stadium In Yerevan Will Be The Host Venue For The 4th Edition Of Euro-Asian Song Contest.This Will Be The First Time That The Competition Will Be Held In Armenia And The First Time In Yerevan.Yerevan is the capital and largest city of Armenia and one of the world's oldest continuously inhabited cities. Situated along the Hrazdan River, Yerevan is the administrative, cultural, and industrial center of the country. It has been the capital since 1918, the thirteenth in the history of Armenia.As of 2011 estimates, the population of Yerevan was 1,121,900 people making up to 34% of the total population of Armenia.Yerevan was named the 2012 World Book Capital by UNESCO.
