Danish Music Contest 6, sometimes referred to as DMC 6, was the 6th edition of Danish Music Contest, a national selection for Ourvision Song Contest. As many as 9 returning artists competed in the 6th edition. 3 entries had also previously participated. The Asteroids Galaxy Tour who had won the 1st edition and Oh Land who had won both the 3rd edition and the 4th edition returned with new songs. Because of the host being banned from Youtube, the contest did not properly finish.

Problems

On November 12, 2011, HvdstrcbCBr had his Youtube account disabled because of copyright infringement. The voting had already started when the account was disabled however HvdstrcbCBr had received a couple of votes and saved them as well. The final result was announced from these votes.

The winner of this edition was Bryan Rice and his song "Breathing". He should fight for Denmark in Ourvision Song Contest 15, where he managed to take a 10th place with an amount of 97 points in the Final.

He was the first male artist to win an edition of Danish Music Contest.
