Danish Music Contest 5, sometimes referred to as DMC 5, was the 5th edition of Danish Music Contest, a national selection for Ourvision Song Contest. The contest had a special Halloween theme as can be seen by the logo.
The winner of this edition was Christine Milton and her song "Superstar". She should fight for Denmark in Ourvision Song Contest 14, where she won with an amount of 179 points in the Final.
Due to this victory in Ourvision Song Contest 14, the Danish Music Contest became the first national selection to manage a first place in the final of an edition of Ourvision Song Contest.
